when having meeting and discussing job performance am i required to pay employees.

we try to have trainging and discuss how were doing as a company and the competition. how to work better quicker and more helpful to customers.

I'm not sure if there is a law that regulates this, however, I think most employers expect that they will pay employees during training and I think that there are many reasons why it's probably in your own best interest to do so.
