I'd need a little more to go on to come up with specific suggestions. Could you give some examples of the kind of products?Generally, though, here's the process I use for naming products or companies:1. Brainstorm every word you can think of, both literally related to your product (e.g., freeze, frozen, chilly, deli, etc.) and descriptive of how you want people to feel about your product (yummy, delicious, value, premium, etc.).2. Cluster similar ideas together (aka mind-mapping).3. Decide on the 2-3 main concepts you want to evoke with your brand name.4. Hit the thesaurus and find as many possible synonyms as you can for those ideas.5. Expand even more - find the Greek and Latin (and even other languages) translations of those words. Think about what colors, gems, animals, etc., might be associated with each of those core concepts.6. Start playing with combinations of these words and fragments of the key parts (i.e., roots) of the words. Just make a big list -- don't be too judgmental at this point.7. Sit on it. Reflect. Let your subconscious work on it for a bit. Go over your list the next day. How does each name idea make you feel? At ths point you can delete or mark for further consideration.8. Go over the list with your team, as well as 2-3 outside people whose opinion you value and whose discretion you trust.9. Make your short list.10. Research. Has the name been used before as a brand? Or for any other purpose? Just because it's been used doesn't mean you can't -- just has to not be in the same or similar field so that you'll be able to get the trademark. You'll also want to be able to get the domain name (or at least something reasonable that includes it).Hopefully that will help you get started (or a little farther along in the process). If you can provide some more details, perhaps you can get some more specific ideas from people.

Coming up with a brand name could very well be the most important decision a new business makes. No matter how high the quality of the product is, if the brand name is not something that people will remember and associate with excellence, few people will be motivated to try your product. So that being said, how do you go about choosing a name?

The answer lies in using focus groups. No matter how good you think the brand name you created is, you will not know until your choice has been validated by a number of people with no connection to you or your company. So come up with as many names as you can as potential brands and then create focus groups and test them. You need to ask questions such as "What image comes directly to mind when you first hear the word...".
