What is liklihood that trucking company will fire due to an at-fault trucking accident?

Driving for 4 years without accident, no personal injury but ticketed for turning left in front of car that didn't have lights on at dusk and wasn't seen. It's an insurance thing, right? Do most companies fire or give a second chance?

Concerned: I posted this question on Twitter, and someone wondered whether your company has an explicit policy about this. Is there a zero-tolerance policy for accidents? Were there any substances involved?
