WHEN CLIMMING A LADDER ,SHOULD YOU BE HOLDING A LADDER WITH TWO HANDS

I WAS WORKING FOR A SALTALITE COMPANY ,SOME JOBS REQUIRED YOU TO PUT UP A HEAVIER DISH WHICH REQUIRES 8 CINDER BLOCKS TO HOLD DOWN THE DISH ,WE WORK ALONE ,MOST TRUCKS ONLY HAVE A 32 FT. LADDER ,I HAVE USE LADDERS BEFORE IN THE ELECTRICAL ,BUT NEVER CARRIED CINDER BLOCKS UP A LADDER ,IS THIS A SAFE WAY TO DO THIS ,

Yes you should use 2 hands. Because it puts to much weight on 1 hand. If use 2 hands it is safer and faster to climb up the lader. I hope this helped!

This sounds extremely dangerous and I believe your company is remiss (if not in violation of some code or regulation) if they are requiring you to do this work alone. There is no safe way to carry a cinder block up a ladder by yourself. Talk to your supervisor about this before you and/or your co-workers are injured.
