Have you looked on the Aviation Week site? They have a number of special reports and a lot of detailed information about the industry. That might be a good place to start.

Yes i have been seeing the web mentioned but detailed reveiw is not there. I can only see news. For reports we need to subscribe for it.

Darpan - well, it may be one of those situations where the information you need isn't available for free. Do as much research as you can through public documents: annual reports from the public companies in the industry, government websites for defense industry spending, online trade magazines. After that, to get the level of detail you need, you may need to pony up for a more comprehensive report.

I recommend reviewing AVIATION WEEK's 2009 Top-Performing Companies microsite, http://aviationweek.com/TPC. It provides information about and a detailed analysis of the A&D market, key players, and top performers. There are two parts to the study: 1) airlines and 2) aerospace/defense companies.
