Well on the surface this seems like a great business to be in since there are so many people looking for work and as a recruiter I can tell you there are a lot of people who need help with their resumes.

The problem is that they are extremely cost sensitive.. because they are not working! So you need to reach a lot of people. You can do this by speaking at events and civic organizations about fnding a job and changing careers. Offer your services to companies that are laying off. The company can pay you a lump sum and in return you can give everyone eligible 1 hour of consultation.

The point is you need to be creative and get a lot of people in the sales funnel to find enough willing to pay to have their resume done. Best of luck.
