Question

Asked: Nov 04, 2009

I'd like to learn about companies who have "captive" offshore operations?

Specifically, I'd like to hear about experiences people have had with captive offshore operations over the past few years. Have the cost advantages of having wholly owned offshore operations faded over time?

Are there other issues/problems that people have experienced with offshore captives?

The article below indicates that companies are moving away from this model, but I'd like to hear about the experiences that other companies are having.
