Question

Asked: Nov 10, 2009

I'm building a business plan for a biotech. Where can I find #s for the proforma financials...insurance and such?

I'm building proforma financial statements and need information so that I can build statements for the next 5 years. The insurance part has me stumped. Where can I go to find guestimated numbers that are realistic? There are a lot of variables up in the air, so it is hard to plan without real numbers.

Thanks!

Hi Furmo,

Especially if you are considering seeking finacing, your 'numbers' have to be as close to 'real life' as possible. Call two or three local insurance agents and ask them to sit down with you and discuss various plans.

You will also find that using real quotes will help immensely when it's time to start operations.

Good Luck!
