How can I begin to start getting referrals for my business? And how can I grow referrals?

My team is selling a relatively low-cost B2B product (Pay Per Click Advertising on Business.com). We have never solicited referrals from our clients and I don't know where to begin. And if we began, how would we grow it to be a more predominant way of generating new accounts?

Greetings Kevin, One thought is to increase the exposure and value of using business.com ppc by allowing members of business.com to include the same PPC on their website just as Google does with adsense. This will generate additional exposure to the client and profitability to the website owner.

This is a good question because sales, like life, is all about relationships. Joe Girard (the number one sales person in the world, according to the Guiness Book of World Records - he sold over 1,425 cars a year!), summed it up this way:

"Your success as a sales rep or company is directly related to how well you develop and cultivate relationships."

I couldn't agree more. So, how do you begin growing your relationships and getting referrals?
