Question

Does anyone know of any LEGITIMATE resources to find government grants for businesses?

Does anyone have any good resources for finding government grants for starting a real estate business? I am not interested in companies that charge a fee to find grants.

Thanks.

Greetings from Montana! I have been researching this issue myself and have found some information that might be useful to you.

1st the government mainly "grants" money to local and state agencies so that they might "loan" or help business people get loans by providing backing for the loans. I have found some federal and state grants that are available to busienss in the helping professions such as therapists etc who want to work with low income type clients.

Some communities also are willing to grant small amounts of money to private businesses who are willing to hire peolple with special challenges , to offset the wages and taxes. Hope this helps. Also go to a website belonging to the federal goverment and search for "grants" it is a maze of information that is somewhat difficult to search through but it is possible to obtain information relating to your speciality and any grants that may be out there for your type of service/product.
