Can you recommend a good email list company? I'm looking for email...not pop-up services! Thank you

I really like Aweber - they have very powerful options and let you have unlimited lists, subscribers and emails for a low flat monthly fee. I've found their lists easy to set up.

I also like MailChimp. I think Aweber is more robust, but MailChimp have a lot of personality and they have a free plan for up to 500 subscribers and 3000 emails a month. They also have great design templates, much cooler than Aweber's.

I read it as two different needs.

1) Purchasing an Email List
2) Sending emails such as newsletters etc..

I would way Jigsaw ( http://www.jigsaw.com/ ) is one good source to collect right email address. When it comes to purchasing Email addresses, quality of the data is very important. There are lots and lots of companies who would sell you the cooked email address for very small price.

Be cautious of these email list companies.

As for as sending emails is concerned my vote is for constant contact (www.constantcontact.com) who's price is a small for the reliability of the service.
