Question

Anyone knows whether a 3-cell battery of a notebook (just two months old) normally self-discharges?

In the first 24 hours after charge my NB200 3cell battery lose battery capacity around 20%. And after fully charging it and left it unused for 3 days, battery is almost empty when I opened it.

Hi there -- When you left it "unused" -- Did you put it on Standby mode? Your notebook will continue to use battery power in Standby mode, but, you can "wake up" the notebook faster from Standby.
If you don't want to use any battery power, then make sure you either completely shutdown the notebook, or, put it in "Hibernate" mode (but will take longer to wake up the notebook)
And .. if you did have your notebook completely shutdown for 3 days and it was draining battery, then something is wrong with your battery. Battery should definitely hold its power for 3 days.
Hope that helps!
